Wow that’s amazing. It’s kind of hard to tell if that character is on a piece of paper in real life or if it rendered on a drawing tablet. Please give me the answer if you will.

Yeah I drew the character with a pen tablet and imported it into blender as a flat plane. The second image is a picture I took of the real life sketch I drew in my sketchbook. Everything I do usually starts with a sketch, but my final renders are all digital.

they're 100% organic with skin bit more soft than human. they also happens to leak small amounts of mucus like the grease on our skin.

Short answer ~ 20 hours.
A very short time on the pencil sketch for the concept, and 3d modeling, but the majority of time was spent in the lighting and rendering.
